[spiegel.de] – Anne-Frank-Übersetzerin “Ich mochte ihre Ehrlichkeit”
Yesterday (11 June, 2019), news moderator Claus Kleber did the same during prime time German news.
Except, Anne Frank was NOT killed by the Germans in 1945.
[wikipedia.org] – Anne Frank
In October or November 1944, Anne and her sister, Margot, were transferred from Auschwitz to Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, where they died (probably of typhus) a few months later. They were originally estimated by the Red Cross to have died in March, with Dutch authorities setting 31 March as their official date of death, but research by the Anne Frank House in 2015 suggests it is more likely that they died in February.
A good lawyer could even make the case that Anne Frank was indirectly killed by the Americans, who, in their fervor to colonize Germany and the rest of Europe, made conditions as miserable as possible for all civilians. The conditions in the camps were horrific during the collapse of German society at the end of the war. Anne Frank fled westwards from Auschwitz, with the Germans, making the existence of an extermination program doubtful.
